earth day was more of an anti-earth day, but i got to see lovely people i had not seen in a while. that and kettle corn.
i'm leaving on sunday, which is scary. i'm having difficulty believing that i've been here for a week and a half and still haven't seen enough of you. on saturday, phong and i will be at shores around noonish if you want to come out and say hi.

OK!
i graduated from culinary school on tuesday, so guess i'm a "professional" pastry chef now...
my last day at urban was friday! i don't know what to do with myself now... i'm sadly realizing just how much time i had invested in going there all. of. the. time. though- as horrible as that place is, i did get to meet some rather amazing individuals.
phong is driving up here on friday to pick me up. i get to meet his parents and see his stomping grounds in lincoln heights on our way back to san diego. nerous nervous nervous. he tries to assure me by saying that i can't really fuck up and say something dumb, since his parents don't speak english very well.
hilary, greg, tamir, mark, blake, dj and natasha: it was nice of y'all to visit, but who the fuck ate my crunch bar? the last two weeks of april i'll be in san diego with pretty much nothing to do, so i really need to see everyone before i leave for boston.

ummm i never use this any more.
i turned 20 on the 22nd of january. i flew down for that and to see phong of course. told my parents that we're engaged- they didn't flip and are really supportive and excited. i'll be done with school in less than two months. may will be a month-long roadtrip across the country. we'll end up in boston and see where that takes us.

go and see half nelson with ryan gosling. broken social scene is the soundtrack for the entire movie and it's really fitting.
i had soy gelatto two days ago and i'm still thinking about it..
i'm becoming really good friends with this girl allison from work. she rocks the shit out of life.
i love going to the coops.
i really like my wings
i'm happy with all of the shit i'm getting done, but i hate the routine i have to follow to make shit happen.

empty house, not so empty heart.
mark came to visit and that was fun. we drove over the golden gate bridge, got lost in the haight, lunched in china town, then booked it to berktown so i could be 15 minutes late to work. i hate shoplifters. fuck my period.
everyone is gone, i'm moving in ten days. this is going to be a weird, but really good experience.
i miss my boys, local and otherwise.
